Well, well, well, hi there. It's been a while. You know, house, holidays, yadda, yadda, yadda. I'm not even going to bullshit you. Life is crazy, and I know I won't be posting as much as I used to. I need to get real about that so I won't feel guilt ridden when I go for weeks without posting. I've decided to focus on living my life a little bit more, instead of being stuck behind a camera and then subsequently a computer screen.
We had a fantastic Halloween party. The decor was fun (I DIYed that wreath up top), the food was great, the company was awesome, the costumes were fantastic, and not a picture was taken during the party. I was too busy laughing, drinking, making sure my wig wasn't falling off, and playing flip cup like a college student.
Thanksgiving was a small 5 person affair for which I whipped up a traditional Thanksgiving feast, all by myself, like a pro. I even made homemade pies- a pumpkin cheesecake with candied pecans and a salted caramel apple pie with crumb topping! And again, I took no photos of the spread or carving the turkey. I actually had to stop myself from grabbing my camera, but I need to get back to enjoying my life, not documenting it like I'm on some reality TV show. Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets this way about blogging?
I hope everyone had a wonderful time spending Halloween and Thanksgiving with their loved ones.
Until next time!
